Arbitration system

Each manuscript received is submitted to double-blind peer review by the Editorial Committee and, in addition, by one or two external reviewers. After this review, the responsible author is notified of the acceptance (with or without corrections and changes) or rejection of the manuscript (see Recommendations below).

The Editorial Committee reserves the right to introduce, with the authors' knowledge, all editorial changes required by grammatical rules, the journal's style and page layout needs.

The editorial review and evaluation circuit by expert peers of the Scientific Committee may take up to four months (without considering the summer recess period corresponding to the month of January). Peer reviewers have 7 days to accept the evaluation of a paper and 30 days to carry out the review.

Once the observations resulting from the external evaluation process have been communicated, the authors will have 20 days to send the corrections, with the possibility of requesting an extension of 10 days. If there is no response, the authors will be notified of the rejection of the article. If any of the evaluations are unfavorable, the Editorial Committee will decide to send the article to a third external evaluator. The average time between shipment and publication is 12 weeks.

The external evaluators have specific review forms for each section of the journal based on the guidelines written for the authors, general aspects of the presentation of the work and questions related to the content. The results of the evaluation are classified into four recommendations:
1. Accept this submission
2. Publishable with modifications
3. Resubmit for revision
4. Not publishable
