RAM is a quarterly publication edited and financed by the Argentine Society of Medicine aimed at disseminating biomedical, epidemiological and social scientific topics related to the following branches of clinical medicine: bioethics, cardiology, critical care, palliative care, dermatology, pain, education, emergentology, endocrinology, epidemiology, pharmacology and toxicology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, hematology, hepatology, arterial hypertension, infectology, medical informatics, immunology, ambulatory medicine, evidence-based medicine, hospital medicine, metabolism, nephrology, pneumonology, neurology, nutrition and diabetes, oncology, psychiatry and rheumatology.

This journal provides open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research helps to increase the global exchange of knowledge.

The journal accepts original and unpublished papers in clinical or experimental medicine,in Spanish and English.  Those already reported in scientific societies may be accepted.

For manuscript preparation, the requirements of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) are followed and are available at http://www.icmje.org. Guidelines for publications can be consulted at http://www.equator-network.org.

The Revista Argentina de Medicina adopts the Publication by Issues Model, i.e., articles are grouped in specific issues and published on a specific date (quarterly).
