HYBRID ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. A THREAT TO LATIN AMERICA
Abstract
Recently there has been a huge promotion of the so-called hybrid artificial intelligence, the fusion of human brain with brain implants. Hybrid artificial intelligence is promoted as a benefit to society, however, it is concealed that the fusion can lead us to lose our autonomy, our intimacy, and we can become human robots, at the service of main transnational companies. Given the high risk to health, there is a high suspicion that it would be developing with illicit human experimentation. The long history of unethical human experimentation of the economic powers in the Third World as the United States, and corrupt Latin American governments that have allowed it to enrich themselves with it, compels the doctors to inform themselves, to be alert, to investigate, to denounce and to avoid the development of the secret and forced human experimentation to develop hybrid artificial ntelligence.
Key words. Human experimentation, artificial intelligence, human rights, Latin America, bioethics.
